About Us
Thermorest has been developed and brought to market by Marysville Industrial Inc.
Partners Mike Thiergartner an operations manager for an industrial supply firm is
the President and Art Woolum an electrical engineer working for the United States
Department of Defense as a quality auditor for electronic components serves as Vice President.
The idea for Thermorest was prompted by Mike when he was suffering from wrist discomfort
and cold fingers while working long hours at a computer just as many of his colleagues have
in the past. He spent many hours studying medical articles, related reports and books on hand
and wrist disorders. Many of his findings supported his theory of how warming the hand and wrist
could help improve circulation, therefore relieving many of the cumulative trauma related discomforts
that he and million of others suffer from.
The challenge was how to develop a product to warm the hands without interrupting the normal operation
of a computer. The Thermorest product was developed after hundreds of hours testing various prototypes
with the professional assistance from the excellent staff at Battle Creek Equipment. We are excited about
the medical benefits and productivity improvement potential of our new product. Our test market results exceeded our expectations and we hope that you find it equally helpful. We look forward to your purchase and we welcome any feedback.
